AUH vs DXB: which airport for F1 Abu Dhabi 2026?
You can fly into either Zayed International Airport (AUH) or Dubai International (DXB). The package includes private return transfers in a standard car from the airport you actually use — not a theoretical one.
Choose AUH if you sleep in Abu Dhabi
InterContinental, Rixos Marina and Park Rotana are Abu Dhabi hotels. AUH is the shorter landing: you clear, you meet us, you are in the room without a Dubai–Abu Dhabi highway at midnight. US and European carriers that still file AUH make this easy.
Choose DXB if you sleep in JBR
Ramada JBR and Sheraton JBR sit on the Dubai coast. DXB has more long-haul metal. The hotel is then 30–45 minutes from DXB in normal traffic, and Yas Marina is the longer race-week drive.
Landing DXB for an Abu Dhabi hotel
Plenty of North American and Australian fares only work via DXB. That is fine. Budget 60–90 minutes for the private car to an Abu Dhabi hotel, more at race-week peaks. Do not self-drive the first night if you have never done E11 in the dark after a long haul.
