What to pack for F1 Abu Dhabi 2026 in December
Early December in Abu Dhabi is the reason this Grand Prix exists as a holiday. Daytime is typically warm and dry; evenings at Yas Marina Circuit are mild enough for a night race without a coat, but grandstands cool once you sit still.
Circuit kit
Closed, walkable shoes. A light layer for after sunset. Ear protection if you sit near the start/finish. Phone battery, because race week kills batteries. The circuit is not a place for new blistering sandals.
Hotel and culture days
Resort wear for JBR and Corniche. Shoulders and knees covered for Qasr Al Watan and mosque visits — a scarf in the day bag solves most dress-code surprises. Swimwear stays at the hotel.
From cold countries
Americans, Canadians, British and Nordics overpack winter coats. You will not need one. You will need SPF for the Friday afternoon and a layer for Sunday night.
